I live near the port of Wilmington NC wood pellets are shipped for here to The UK to be burned to produce electricity. I live in Southport NC at the mouth of the Cape Fear river. The wood pellets pass by our nuclear generating station on the way to the UK

Great piece as always!

If we are going to say the nuclear isn’t renewable we can also say the same about solar. Sure the sun will keep shining but the materials to produce solar panels aren’t infinite either.

Even the sun is not renewable, it uses up its fuel and will go out one day. There are no solutions, only trade-offs.

I am bewitched, bothered, bewildered and befuddled by the fact that Nuclear is hardly ever mentioned in any discussions about our

“Climate crisis”.

The anti nuclear folk have been very successful.
